The South House consists of several simple one and two-story masses, with vertical wall planes and horizontal roof planes unifying and dividing the masses.  A two-story glass entry bifurcates the house along its central axis into two zones, public and private.  The materials are a balance of cast-in-place concrete, smooth painted stucco and copper cladding.  A single-story casita, located along the front shares the architectural language of the main residence.
